It's not often that Janet Jackson, 'NSYNC, and Rage Against The Machine find themselves in the same company, but that will be the case next month now that Jackson has joined 'NSYNC and Rage on the list of performers for this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
Jackson is the latest act confirmed for the awards show, which will be broadcast live from New York's Radio City Music Hall on September 7.
The music network is expected to announce more performers and presenters soon.
Janet last strutted her stuff on the VMA stage in 1995 with a performance of her hits "That's The Way Love Goes" and "If." This time around, Jackson looks likely to offer a rendition of her hit "Doesn't Really Matter," which is currently riding high on the charts.
Catch all the sizzlin', star-packed VMA action direct from Miami on August 28. MTV News' preshow kicks things off at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT, followed by big show at 8 p.m.
