Natalie Imbruglia, the Australian songstress whose debut album, "Left of Middle," is holding strong in "Billboard" magazine's Top 20 Pop Albums ahead of Madonna's "Ray of Light," is tentatively planning to tour the U.S. in the fall.
Imbruglia, who launched a pop career after an acting stint in a daytime U.K. soap opera, has limited live experience aside from a handful of club dates in her Aussie homeland. But according to the "Los Angeles Times," Imbruglia has already signed on for a series of appearances at European festivals this summer, including a July 5 date at London's Hyde Park for the annual all-star Prince's Trust charity concert.
Spurred by the hit single, "Torn" [850k QuickTime], Imbruglia's "Left of Middle" became the highest charting debut by a female alternative artist when it entered the "Billboard" Charts at number 10 last March.
No dates have been announced for Imbruglia's U.S. tour, but we'll keep you
