Enrique Iglesias Show Postponed Over Illness

First Blink-182, then D'Angelo, and now Enrique Iglesias.

The Latin hitmaker is the latest artist to postpone an appearance after falling victim to a throat ailment. Iglesias was to have performed a free show Friday night at Orlando, Florida's CityWalk but has put the show on hold after coming down with a throat infection.

Iglesias' label, Interscope Records, confirms the move, and CityWalk says that its show will go on Friday night with opening acts Miss Jane and SK8 playing as planned. Iglesias is expected to reschedule the date.

Earlier this month, Blink-182 was forced to postpone the remaining dates of its European tour after guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker both came down with strep throat (see "Blink-182 Nixes European Shows"). Then, a few days later, D'Angelo postponed a show at New York's Radio City Music Hall after developing a throat infection (see "D'Angelo's Throat Woes Postpone Shows").

Marc Anthony then fell victim as well, as the singer was forced to cancel shows in St. Louis and Atlanta after having an adverse reaction to medicine he was taking for a sore throat (see "Marc Anthony Postpones Shows In St. Louis, Atlanta").
