Ice Cube, Wahlberg Eyed For Clooney Film

After flexing his big screen muscle in his own "Players' Club," Ice Cube has reportedly lined up another film role, this time opposite George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg.

"Daily Variety" reports that Cube is in negotiations to join Clooney and Wahlberg in a drama set during the Gulf War called "Three Kings."

The film will be directed by David O. Russell, who handled 1996's "Flirting With Disaster" and 1994's "Spanking the Monkey."

While Cube has turned up on the big screen before in films like "Anaconda," "Friday," "Higher Learning," and "Boyz N the Hood," he took it the next level this year with "Players' Club," which he directed, wrote, produced, and starred in.

If Cube takes the role, he'll have to wait until after his turn on this fall's Family Values tour to start work on it.
