The Pretenders make a return to store racks this week with "Viva El Amor!" It's the band's first album since 1995's live offering "The Isle of View" and its first collection of new material since 1994's "Last of the Independents."

Frontwoman Chrissie Hynde told MTV News that these days, she finds putting together an album to be a relatively relaxing activity... a notion suggested by the time taken off between LPs.
