Courtney Love Bio Claims To Have "Real Story"

September 4 [13:00 EDT] -- Courtney Love is the subject of a new biography called "The Real Story" by Poppy Z. Brite, the author of vampire novels such as "Lost Souls" and "Drawing Blood."

The book traces Love from her early days in a school for what were said to be "criminally inclined" teens, through strip-tease excursions in Tokyo and Taiwan, to her current status as rock star and budding actress.

The book includes Love's diary entries and letters to the late Kurt Cobain, whom she once referred to as "pixie meat," as well as baby pictures of Love, Cobain, and their daughter, Frances Bean.
