A release date has finally been set for the next Hole album, the band's first since 1994's "Live Through This."
The still untitled album is now due to arrive in stores on May 19.
The band has left its Los Angeles studio in favor of a New York City setting to continue work on the album with producer Michael Beinhorn.
When the album surfaces, it will feature the input of Smashing Pumpkin Billy Corgan who helped the band early in the development of the upcoming album. As we previously reported (see "Corgan Talks About Work On Manson, Hole, Pumpkins Albums"), Corgan says he helped the band write seven songs for the album and plays bass on one of them.
