December 24 [12:00 EDT] -- Rob Halford was reunited with half of his old band Fight December 20 at the Mason Jar in Phoenix where Halford was the marquee act at a benefit concert for the local Child Crises Center.
The former Judas Priest singer had formed Fight in 1993 along with drummer Scott Travis a year after the two of them left Priest. Travis eventually went back to that band, which has since snagged a Halford sound alike, Tim 'Ripper' Owens, whom they discovered playing in a Judas Priest tribute band called British Steel. Judas Priest released a new record with Owens, "Jugulator," in September.
The Halford show at the Mason Jar featured Fight members Brian Tilse on guitar, and bassist Jay Jay who went on to form Vent. Vent's drummer filled in for Travis.
Halford left Fight over two years ago to form his current project, Two, with guitarist John Lowery. Two will be releasing their debut album, "Voyeurs," n Trent Reznor's Nothing Records mostly likely the
first week in March. Reznor is listed as Executive Producer.
