Gwar, Meshuggah, Earth Crisis, Testament, Morbid Angel, Candiria, The Misfits, Napalm Death and thousands of metal fans will descend on Worcester, Massachusetts in late April for the start of a three-day festival of metal and hardcore.
The first annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival kicks off on April 30 and runs though May 2 at Worcester's Palladium and boasts a bill that also includes Cryptopsy, Deicide, Living Sacrifice, Shadows Fall, Crisis, Cave-In, Tree, Isis, Sam Black Church, Skinlab, Honkeyball, Today is the Day, Hatebreed, Dillinger Escape Plan, Drowning Man, Diecast, Non Compos Mentis, Scissorfight, Dying Fetus, Piecemeal, Reveille, Shut Down, Shed, Puya, Immolation, Buried Alive and others. The weekend concert will also feature record label showcases sponsored by Relapse, Hydrahead, Equal Vision, and Wonderdrug.
