For Reunited Guy, "Wild Wild West" Could Lead To Album, Tour

After reuniting for a track on the "Wild Wild West" soundtrack, R&B hitmakers Guy may have more in store for the near future.

Teddy Riley and company hooked up recently for "The Best," a track for the soundtrack of the Will Smith action flick that opened on Wednesday. The group will also turn up on "Summer Heat," a compilation from MCA Records that benefits the United Negro College Fund. The collection also features Mary J. Blige, Eboni Foster, The Roots featuring Common, K-Ci & JoJo, Rahsaan Patterson, Melky Sedeck, IMx (formerly Immature), Chante Moore, and others and arrives on July 27.

In a release trumpeting the album, MCA Records says that the Guy track will also be featured on an upcoming Guy reunion album.

Word has also come that the group is be planning a reunion tour for later this year. Spokespeople for Riley's record label, Interscope Records, could not confirm the tour.

During their days as Guy, Riley and brothers Aaron and Albert Damion Hall were credited

with forging the swing beat R&B movement. After two albums together, the trio parted ways, and Riley moved on to success both as a producer and with the group Blackstreet.
