The Goo Goo Dolls decided to put a little more action in to their video arsenal with “Dizzy,” the next single off of their “Dizzy Up The Girl” album.
This timeout, the band has cast itself in what plays like a 60s spy film, but packs a 90s twist. The Goos took a break from their current U.S. tour to shoot the video in Los Angeles over the weekend when frontman Johnny Rzeznik relished the opportunity to go fast.
“We’re shooting a video for a song called ’Dizzy’ which is going to be the next single off the record, and we’re shooting a car chase in this little car right here, and we’re winding around this road going real fast, cutting the guy off behind us and stuff. It’s pretty wild. It’s very dizzying,” the singer told MTV News.
“Breaking the law at every turn, breaking the law,” bassist Robby Takac added.
There’s now word yet on when the single or video will arrive as the group is still doing all right with “Slide.” Meanwhile, the “Dizzy” album recently went gold.
