ODB Talks About Being A Family Man

November 19 [7:55 EDT] -- Does Ol' Dirty Bastard live up to his name in family matters? Not according to him.

As we reported on Monday, Wu-Tang Clan's Ol' Dirty Bastard (real name Russell Jones), was arrested last week for refusing to pay his wife Icelene Jones some $35,000 in child support last year for the couple's three children. In addition to these three kids, ODB also has 10 others.

Last Friday Icelene announced that she wanted a divorce. On Tuesday, we spoke with Ol' Dirty about the incident.

"I love all my, I love my wife. Yes, I love her, dearly. [500k QuickTime] You know, just of course I will pay child support," the rapper told MTV News. "You know what I mean? Why wouldn't I? You know I love my children. You know what I mean? I love my children just being there as a family, you know what I mean? You know, things just gotta be dealt with, you know what I'm saying?

You know what I gotta deal with. And that's what I got to deal with. And we'll deal with it. The creator will make sure everything is right."

ODB also says that he is now completely clean and sober. The entire matter is scheduled for a December 19th hearing. For more from the Wu-Tang Clan member's interview, check out the "Week In Rock" this weekend.

In other Wu-Tang news, the Scots rock band "Texas" (whose name is derived from the 1984 Wim Wenders film "Paris, Texas") has just worked with Rza on a remix for their single "Say What You Want," which features Method Man as a guest rapper.
