Wu-Tang Clan charter member Ol' Dirty Bastard stopped by the MTV Radio Network to talk about the solo project he's working on, and said that he's also planning to launch his own clothing line in the same vein as the current line of Wu Wear.
ODB said that his My Dirty Wear line is still in the development stages, and he is looking for designers and manufacturers, but he has definite goals for the line.
Asked if the clothes will be found in any of the Wu Wear stores established to move the group's gear, ODB said, "Yes, yes, yes... it's going to show up there also, but I'm going to have my own stores, My Dirty Wear stores. Why not have two? If you have one, you might as well have two, Wu Wear and My Dirty Wear. It's just a branch off the tree, you know what I mean." [750k QuickTime]
Dirty said that the line will feature design input from, "Me, myself, my mama... We're going to bring in designers, whatever's clever...
whatever works. My mind is open to all suggestions."
There's no word yet on when My Dirty Wear might arrive, but we'll keep you posted.
