Flex, Inspectah Deck, Grandmaster Flash, Others Pitch In For DJ Battle

Funkmaster Flex, Pete Rock, Inspectah Deck, Mobb Deep, Grandmaster Flash, the Baka Boyz, and others will be on hand as 16 other DJs duke it out for supremacy as part of the annual "Vibe Music Seminar" sponsored by the hip-hop magazine of the same name.

The DJs will go head-to-head Sunday in New York as part of the seminar's first ever DJ Battle For World Dominance with Grandmaster Flash, Chuck Chillout, Coco Chanel, EPMD's DJ Scratch, Baka Boyz, and UPN News' Laverne Atkinson acting as judges.

The event will also feature non-competitive sets by Flex, Deck, Pete Rock, Mobb Deep, DJ Cash Money, Dead Prez, and the X-Men.

In addition to being crowned Lord of the DJs, one lucky winner will also receive Technics turntables, a mixer and headphones from New York's Sam Ash music store, spot as a guest DJ and host on an upcoming sampler from Loud Records, and gear from Starter as well as an appearance in an upcoming Starter print ad.
