Wyclef Jean Sets More Tour Dates, Siblings To Release Album

Fresh off an appearance at MTV's Spring Break '98, Fugees' songsmith Wyclef Jean has announced more dates for his Carnival Comes To Town Tour.

As we previously reported (see "Wyclef Slates Tour, Second Haitian Benefit"), Jean will be taking several members of his Refugees All-Stars on the road with him, including John Forte and Canibus, and will perform both solo and Fugees material.

In related news, the "L.A. Times" is reporting that Jean's brother Sedeck and sister Melky have just finished recording an album, "Da Joint," scheduled for release in August. No word yet on whether they'll be joining their brother on the Carnival Tour anytime soon.
