Lauryn Hill, Nas, Guru Pitching In For Bob Marley Festival, Tribute Album

Gang Starr's Guru will join Lauryn Hill and Nas at this year's Bob Marley Caribbean Festival, set for February 13.

The sixth annual event will be staged at Miami's Bayfront park, and is expected to draw 20,000 fans. Those attending the show are urged to bring canned goods that will be donated to Camillus House, a homeless shelter that offers counseling and job placement to those in need.

Not too surprisingly, a few of the groups involved in the festival will also turn up on an upcoming Bob Marley tribute album. The collection, titled "Black Survivors," will feature cuts from festival performers Lauryn Hill and Guru as well as Outkast, Krayzie Bone, Erykah badu, MC Lyte, the Lost Boyz, and Joe Perry and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith.
