Face To Face Goes Indie For Live Album

December 24 [10:00 EDT] -- Fans of Face To Face will be glad to know that the band has captured it's tight-fisted live sound for its upcoming indie-label release.

The group, which made the major label jump to A&M Records in 1994, returns to indie-punk land with the release of "Live," which should arrive on January 27.

The album will be a joint release of Vagrant Records and the label owned by Face To face frontman Trever Keith, Lady Luck Records.

The 18 tracks on the album were culled from two sold out performances at Los Angeles' Roxy in September, and features previously unreleased cuts like "Dissension," "Don't Turn Away," and "Not For Free.

The album also features the sound that Face To Face has honed during an extensive touring schedule that includes tours with No Doubt, NOFX, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Offspring, Bad Religion, and three summers on the Warped tour.

The indie release does not mean the end of Face To Face's days in the

majors. The band plans to play a few dates early next year to mark the release of "Live," and will then begin work on their next album for A&M, which should arrive in late '98 or early '99.
