702 Gets More Feedback From Missy Elliott

The ladies of 702 couldn’t be happier with the success they continue to enjoy with the hit single “Where My Girls At,” but they’re not the only ones.

Rapper Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott, who wrote and produced the song for the girls, is also pleased with the outcome of that song and the rest of 702′s album.

“[Missy] actually called Meelah not too long ago,” 702′s Irish told the MTV Radio Network, “and was talking about how much she loved the album. And she was just saying she loves the entire album, not just her songs, but the entire album. So, she’s really sweet.” [RealAudio]

In addition to “Where My Girls At?” Missy Elliott also produced the song “Gotta Leave” from 702′s self-titled second record.

Meanwhile, Lemisha has returned from her brief maternity leave, and the girls say they should be lining up their first project for the Wilhelmina modeling agency in
the coming weeks. 702 is also developing a pilot for a proposed TV series.
