702 Hits Studio With Missy Elliott, Heads To Europe For The Holidays
The ladies of 702 launched a brief European tour over the weekend, but not before logging some studio time with Missy Elliott.
The "Where My Girls At" hitmakers teamed with Elliott to work on a remix of their next single, "Gotta Leave." The track, penned and produced by Elliott, will see the group try to follow up on the success of [article id="1443450"]"Where My Girls At" [RealVideo][/article](which spent 35 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and remains in the top 20) and marks the third single from 702's self-titled second album.
After working with Elliott, the trio headed to Europe last weekend for a short tour that will take them through Switzerland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.Back on U.S. soil, 702 is nominated for an American Music Award for Favorite New Artist in the Soul/R&B category and will attend the awards on January 17, 2000.
