Elastica Get Back To Work

August 7 [16:00 EDT] -- England's Elastica, who broke into the mainstream here in the States with their 1994 eponymous album, are finally working on the follow.

Our colleagues at the MTV Radio Network report that the band is currently in a London studio working on an as-yet-untitled album. This time around, the group is working with producer Alan Moulder and they have brought in bassist Sheila Chipperfield to replace Annie Holland who left the band.

While no official release date has been set, a spokesperson for the group's record label says that the album should turn up in the spring of 1998.
