Lose Weight The “Thong Song” Way

Yes, we all know that Sisqo’s runaway hit “Thong Song” has the unique ability to get a dance floor moving, but can it really help you shed unwanted pounds?

Sisqo thinks so.

The R&B hitmaker says that his ode to the briefest of swimwear has an inspirational message that has encouraged at least one fan to drop some extra weight.

“I actually got a letter from a fan that actually lost 30 pounds because she heard me describe what I like in a female,” Sisqo recently told the MTV Radio Network. “I said I like when a female is athletic, her body’s nice and tight, and where she can wear a thong and look good in it. So she lost 30 pounds just so she could wear a thong, and now she feels a lot better about herself, and it feels good to encourage people.

“You would think that the ‘Thong Song’ was some degrading song defaming women,”
he added, “but when you listen to it, it’s really not even that bad.” [RealAudio]
