With the holidays upon us, now is the time for people to seek out wall calendars to help map out the next year, and hip-hop artists such as Eve, Busta Rhymes, Monica, Wyclef Jean, Mya, and Dr. Dre have all donated their likenesses to a calendar series benefiting several charities.
Charl Productions has put together four such millennium wall calendars: The Women Of Music 2000, The Men Of Hip-Hop, one devoted exclusively to T-Boz from TLC, and another featuring rapper Sticky Fingaz.
Funds raised by T-Boz’s calendar (which finds her wearing a different wig for each month) are earmarked for the Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation, an inherited blood disease affecting an estimated 70,000 people in the U.S. alone. T-Boz is also the national celebrity spokesperson for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America.
