DMX Set To Release "Flesh Of My Flesh," His Second Album This Year

Talk about your quick turn-around times.

Rapper DMX, whose debut album, "It's Dark & Hell Is Hot," entered the charts at number one just this past May, is already finished with second album, which he plans to have out before the end of the year.

Entitled "Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood," DMX's second record in a little over six months, is scheduled to arrive in stores on December 15.

Making the successive releases even more impressive is that DMX has split his time since wrapping up a stint on this summer's Survival of the Illest tour between the recording studio and the sound studio.

In the interim, DMX was also forced to defend himself against rape charges that were eventually dropped in August (see "DMX Cleared Of Rape Charges").

The rapper is set to make his big screen acting debut next month, where he plays a flashy drug dealer named Tommy in veteran video director Hype Williams' first feature film,

"Belly."
