UPDATE: DMX Out; Ja Rule, Mobb Deep In As Family Values Tour Launches

The latest edition of the Family Values tour got rolling this week in Pittsburgh, but it did so without the help of rapper DMX, who will not be joining the tour as originally planned.

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst told MTV News his band received word that the rapper would not be making the trek days before Tuesday's tour kick off in Pittsburgh. Ja Rule and Mobb Deep stepped to the plate and filled in on the tour's first date and will help to round out the lineup on select upcoming dates.

DMX's record label, Def Jam, has yet to issue an official statement on the move.
