DMX Changes New LP Title, Shoots For Million-Selling Debut Week

DMX, the winner of the 1999 "Billboard" Music Award for R&B Albums Artist Of The Year, has apparently had a change of heart about the title of his new album, due out later this month.

The album was originally to be called "The Dog, The Man, The God," but will now be titled "And Then There Was X." Meanwhile, DMX's record label, Def Jam, says it is optimistic that the new LP will sell one million copies during its first week in stores.

"And Then There Was X" is due out on December 21, and will feature Dru Hill frontman Sisqo, Regina Belle, The Lox, Drag-On and other members of DMX's Ruff Ryder crew. The first single will be for the hard-hitting track "What's My Name."
