DMX, Eve, The LOX, and Drag-On are among the artists on board for the next offering from the Ruff Ryders camp.
Those artists will join Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Trick Daddy, Scarface, Method Man, and Redman on "Ryde Or Die Vol. II," the follow up to last year's "Ryde Or Die Vol. 1."
This time out, Timbaland and DJ Premier are handling production, as is Swizz Beatz, who crammed the Ruff Ryders project in among his other undertakings.
"I got a couple of projects I'm working on," the production whiz told MTV News recently. "I got the 'Ryde Or Die Vol. II' I'm working on. I got the Swizz Beatz [solo] album. I got the 'Greatest Of Swizz Beatz,' that's with all the crazy songs, and I got songs that people never even heard. And I got my instrumental album that I'm working on, because a lot of people come up to me [and say], 'Yo, I don't got no money or nothing like that. I just want
to rap on some of your tracks.' So this is dedicated to all the real fans that want to write to some all right beats, you know." [RealVideo]
"Ryde Or Die Vol. II" is set to hit stores on June 27, while Swizz Beatz' solo album is due out by the end of the year. The first single from "Ryde Or Die Vol. II" will be "Got It All" by Eve and Jadakiss of The LOX, both of whom will also be releasing albums later this year (see "Eve To Help Lady Enyce Unveil Summer Fashions").
As we previously reported, Swizz Beatz has also done some work on Limp Bizkit's upcoming album, "Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water" (see "Limp Bizkit Meets Swizz Beatz For Upcoming LP").
