Dino Jr, Luscious Jackson, Moby Play Snowboarding Events

March 13 [10:00 EST] -- Shows that pair rockers with snowboarders for various good causes continue to thrive, with a fistful dotting the calendar in coming weeks.

For example, there's Board AID which takes place this Friday and Saturday in Big Bear, California. The show is a Lifebeat-AIDS benefit, and features sets from A Tribe Called Quest and The Pharcyde.

Then, as we reported last week, there's the UnVailed Festival which is set for Vail, Colorado on March 27-29, starring Dinosaur Jr, Morphine, L7, and Rusted Root, and is intended to raise money for youth charities.

There's also a boarding benefit for breast cancer slated for Lake Tahoe, Nevada on April 19 which boasts Luscious Jackson and Primus. In less charitable events, a non-benefit called

Stiff with Dinosaur Jr, Moby, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones will take place in Seattle on March 29.
