Ani DiFranco, Indigo Girls, Springsteen On Pete Seeger Tribute

A cornucopia of artists are lined-up to contribute songs to a tribute album for American folk legend Pete Seeger called “Where Have All The Flowers Gone: The Songs Of Pete Seeger.”

The two-CD will feature Bruce Springsteen (who recorded six songs for the LP’s, including “We Shall Overcome”), Judy Collins, Jackson Browne, Ani DiFranco, The Indigo Girls, actor Tim Robbins (who, if you recall, sang in his film “Bob Roberts”), writer Studs Terkel, among others.

“Where Have All The Flowers Gone” will be the first release from the new indie label, Appleseed Recordings, and is due in stores on March 17.
