Nelly, Destiny's Child, Jay-Z, Lil' Kim, Pink, and Mya will be spending their Halloween in Boston.
Those acts have signed on for Jam'n 94.5's Monster Jam, set for Boston's FleetCenter on October 31.
Tickets for the event go on sale on Thursday through the radio station's Web site (at jamn945.amfmi.com), and any remaining tickets will go on sale Friday through Tickemaster. Tickets are priced from $45 to $65, and a portion of the proceeds from the show will go to Project Bread, a nonprofit community organization dedicated to ending hunger in Massachusetts.
The gig will come at the end of Destiny's Child's current U.S. tour, but will find Lil' Kim, Jay-Z, Pink, Mya, and Nelly returning to the stage, as each is currently taking a break from the road.
The station has been staging benefits for Project Bread for six years and managed to snag L.L. Cool J, Aaliyah, Salt-N-Pepa, Coolio,
and Busta Rhymes as past headliners.
This event marks the second annual Monster Jam; until last year, Jam'n 94.5's annual benefit concert took place during the holiday season.
