Dave Matthews Goes One-On-One With "Cosmo"

Dave Matthews, the make-out king?

So proclaims "Cosmopolitan" magazine in its June issue, where the magazine goes one-on-one with the man behind "make-out music for an entire generation."

Much of the "Cosmo Q&A" with Matthews focuses on what they say are the intoxicating effect his music can have on listeners, especially female ones. Asked whether or not he feels like a sex symbol, Matthews quips, "Yeah, me and the Spice Girls."

However, he does go on to explain to the magazine, "I'm surprised with the frequency of offers [from women]. But they're usually not offers as much as it's been made clear to me that they like me a lot."

Of course, these offers are in vain, as Matthews is devoted to his girlfriend of five years. He talks about making that relationship work while on the road as well as his relationship with his family and his thoughts on fatherhood in the interview.

The June issue of "Cosmo" hits newsstands on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Matthews will also

soon turn up on the new album from Santana, which hits stores on June 15 (see "Everlast, Dave Matthews Pitch In For Santana").
