Feb. 3 [12:00 EST] -- Double Grammy nominee Sheryl Crow launched a 38-city North American tour last Thursday in Austin, Texas, and won't rest until she hits Edmonton, Canada on April 4.
Crow will bring the more personal message of her second album, "Sheryl Crow," to the people on the tour, as her most recent album is an snapshot of her emotional landscape.
"I went into it with a gambit of experiences from the last two or three years, and quite a bit of raw emotion," Crow has said. "I wanted to people to know that right now, while I'm making this record, that this is how I feel. Later you move out of the moment and you make another record and it'll be something else."
If you want to check out the current incarnation of Crow, before she moves on to something else, take a look at her complete tour itinerary in the MTV News Gallery.
Crow is up for two Grammy Awards on February 26, including "Best Rock Album" and "Best
Female Vocal Performance."
