Sevendust RSVPs To Creed's "Scream 3" Invite

Sevendust is the latest hard rock outfit to toss in a track for the upcoming "Scream 3" soundtrack.

The Atlanta group was recently approached by Creed (the band is compiling the soundtrack for Wind-Up Records), and responded to the group's invite by heading into Atlanta's Southern Tracks studio with producer Sylvia Massy. The result of the session is "Fall," a brand new Sevendust track that will surface when the "Scream 3" soundtrack arrives on January 25.

Sevendust now joins Powerman 5000, Coal Chamber, Static-X, Incubus, Slipknot, and Creed themselves on the soundtrack (see "Powerman 5000, Coal Chamber, Static-X, Others Line Up For 'Scream 3'").

The track is just one bit of new business that Sevendust is trying to wrap up before the holidays. After finishing its tour Monday night in New York, the band will team with director Marcos Siega to shoot a video for the song "Waffle" (see "Sevendust

Headed To New York For Video Shoot").
