Creed Expands Tour Plans With Sevendust

As Creed's second album, "Human Clay," continues to sell more than 60,000 copies a week after almost six months in stores, the Tallahassee, Florida band has just lined-up a second series of dates with Sevendust, starting on April 28 in Miami.

The ten new shows come on the heels of Creed and Sevendust's previously announced joint gigs (see "Creed Lines Up Sevendust Dates"), beginning on March 22 in Indianapolis and continuing through April 15 in Amherst, Massachusetts.

3 Doors Down will serve as the warm-up act on the Creed and Sevendust bill from opening night until April 5 followed by UPO from April 7 through April 15. The Guano Apes will then join the tour from April 17 until May 10, while Stir will finish out the rest of the dates, including the tour's close on May 16 in Columbia, South Carolina.

Creed's first two singles from "Human Clay," for the songs "What If" and Higher," are both currently notched in

the Rock Top 10 of the "R&R" charts, and "What If" is also the number one track on the Active Rock charts. The band has just finished shooting the video for a third single, "With Arms Wide Open," which is slated for release late this spring -- most likely in conjunction with the second round of spring concerts with Sevendust.
