Cranberries Head To France For Next Album

Fans of the Cranberries fret not... after a lengthy hiatus, the band is currently recording a new album in the balmy south of France.

For the effort, the follow-up to their 1996's "To The Faithful Departed," the group has teamed with producer Benedict Fenner who has worked with Brian Eno, Laurie Anderson, and Elvis Costello. No release date has been set yet.

When we last checked in with the band, back in November of last year (see "Cranberries Singer Becomes A Mother"), singer Delores O'Riordan had just given birth, and the band said that it had already begun work on its next album.

We'll keep you posted.
