Getting Close To Elvis Costello

Jan. 27 [14:00 EST] -- If you missed out on the brief series of club dates that Elvis Costello played last year with longtime keybordist Steve Nieve, and you didn't pick up the limited edition five-CD live box set from those shows, you now have your third chance to hear the stripped down Costello.

Beginning Monday at 3 p.m. EST, will cybercast each of the CDs from the box set (titled "Costello and Nieve Live") over five successive days.

The discs, which were recorded at dates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, and New York City, will air each day beginning at 3 p.m. from January 27 through January 31. Users will need the RealAudio plug in to hear the broadcast.

The tracks on "Costello and Nieve Live" were pulled from the club tour the two men played in support of Costello's "All This Useless Beauty." Warner Bros. originally shipped the CDs as promotional items, but eventually packaged

them together in a limited edition box set. The set has since sold out.
