Jamiroquai, Puffy, Wallflowers To Perform At VMAs

August 7 [7:55 EDT] — Jamiroquai, Puff Daddy, and the Wallflowers have just been added to the list of performers at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards, joining U2, Beck, and the Spice Girls.

Viewers will be seeing a lot of Jamiroquai when the show is broadcast live September 4 from New York Radio City Music Hall, as the group is up for 10 awards, including Best Video Of The Year.

Meanwhile, when Puffy is not performing, he’ll be up for the Best R&B Video and Viewers Choice awards as well for his tribute to the Notorious B.I.G., “I’ll Be Missing You.”
The Wallflowers have also picked up four nominations, including Best New Artist In A Video, Best Group Video, and Viewers Choice.

The 1997 MTV Video Music Awards, hosted by Chris Rock, will be coming live from Radio City at 8 p.m. Eastern time on September 4.
