Bad Boy Producer Arrested For Assaulting Hip-Hop Magazine Editor

Deric "D-Dot" Angellettie, a producer for Sean "Puffy" Combs' Bad Boy label and another man, Anthony Hubbard, were arrested last Thursday in New York City for their role in an alleged attack against "Blaze" magazine editor Jesse Washington.

Angellettie and Hubbard were both charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon -- charges that each carry a sentence of up to a year in jail. Both men were released on bail after they were arraigned.

Washington claims that Angellettie, Hubbard and two other men ambushed him in his office last Monday, kicking him in the head and face and hitting him with chairs.

As we previously reported (see "'Blaze' Editor Beaten For Revealing Rapper's Identity"), Angellettie was angry about a photo that Blaze ran of him, revealing him as an artist known as "The Madd Rapper."
