The folks at the NFL-produced weekly show "Under The Helmet" are hoping to spice up their hard-hitting action this season with a string of musical guests that includes Puff Daddy, Static-X, and Eve.While he didn't perform, Puffy turned up last weekend on the first show of the season in an interview that saw the rapper/mogul reveal (among other things) that his favorite NFL player of all time is former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback-turned-commentator Terry Bradshaw. This week, the show will carry its first-ever live performance courtesy of disco-metal rockers Static-X. The band recently visited the set of Fox's "NFL Sunday" to perform "Push It," and this weekend's edition of "Under The Helmet" will see the band's performance intercut with footage of Minnesota Vikings standout defensive lineman John Randle. The NFL has also landed Ruff Ryders rapper Eve for the week four edition of the show, which airs October 2. "Under The Helmet" airs on Fox each Saturday.
If you'd like to catch these artists in more conventional settings, Static-X will be hitting the road with Megadeth in October, and you can read all about Eve in our current MTV News Online feature.
