"Puffy" Combs Unveils Fall Fashions With Son's Help

Rap mogul Sean "Puffy" Combs put his legal troubles aside over the weekend in order to debut the Fall 2000 collection of his Sean John clothing line at New York City's Bryant Park.

Combs unveiled the clothes, which included such wares as denim jackets trimmed with leopard print fur, as part of the 7th On Sixth fashion event being held in Manhattan. Rapper Lil' Kim, the New York Yankees' Derek Jeter, and New York Knicks' center Patrick Ewing all came out for the Sean John exhibition, staged Saturday night at 7th On Sixth's main tent.

Combs' girlfriend, actress-singer Jennifer Lopez, did not appear at the Sean John show, even though she was also in New York City to perform on this past weekend's edition of "Saturday Night Live." But Combs did bring his son, Justin, onto the catwalk to model some children's fashions during the finale of the Sean John show.

The Bad Boy Records' CEO may not have such a pleasant time with his next scheduled public appearance, as

he's set to appear in a Manhattan court on February 7 to answer charges of criminal possession of a weapon (see "Puffy Maintains Innocence As Grand Jury Hands Down Weapons Indictment").

Despite the pending trial in the U.S., Puffy is scheduled to kick-off a European tour, his first, on March 14 in Dublin, Ireland.
