George Clinton Booted From Home

Jan. 6 [14:00 EST] -- Funk godfather George Clinton may be spending more time on the Mothership after being booted from his 200-acre farm. A judge ordered Clinton and his extended family to vacate the Adrian, Michigan farm over a dispute about unpaid rent.

Clinton's landlord, Armen Boladian (president of Bridgeport Music Inc.), was charging the artist $8,500 per month in rent, but Clinton says that he thought Boladian was waiving the fee to make up for $15 million in royalties he maintains Boladian owes him.

Clinton, who performed at 1994's Lollapalooza festival with his P-Funk All Stars, has lived on the farm since 1980.
