Mariah Prepares To Debut New Video

Mariah Carey is about to launch the next salvo in the campaign for her "#1's" collection with the debut of her video for "I Still Believe."

The video (not to be confused with her last video for the similarly titled "When You Believe") will roll out for the first time during MTV's "Total Request Live" on next Tuesday, January 12 at 3:30 p.m.

As we reported last month (see "Mariah Carey Shoots New Video, Eyes Collaboration With Brenda K. Starr"), Mariah took to Edwards Air Forse Base to shoot the U.S.O. influenced video. This time out, Mariah teamed with director Brett Ratner, the man behind last year's Chris Tucker/Jackie Chan hit "Rush Hour."

The song, a remake an old Brenda K. Starr track, is one of two new songs on Carey collection of number one hits (the other being the aforementioned "When You Believe").
