Rhino Pegs Captain & Tennille, Paul Anka, Others As Party Killers

Maybe a rousing rendition of the Starland Vocal Band's "Afternoon Delight" will do the trick. That's what the folks at Rhino Records think, as they've included that piece of ultra-smiley sugar-pop on "'70's Party Killers," a collection of tracks hand-picked for their room-clearing qualities.

The collection, which arrives on March 17 (just in time for your St. Patrick's Day blow-out), also features unfortunately unforgettable songs from the Captain & Tennille, Paul Anka and Rupert Holmes (who has managed to carve out a career beyond his "Pina Colada Song" and now composes music for American Movie Classics' series "Remember WENN").
