The line-up for this summer's Smokin' Grooves Tour has just been announced, and will feature a reunited Public Enemy, Busta Rhymes, and Wyclef Jean and the Refugee All-Stars.
Other artists scheduled to appear include Cypress Hill, who will make its third appearance at the festival, Gang Starr and Canibus. More acts may be announced in the upcoming weeks.
The Smokin' Grooves Tour came into its own last year with performances by Cypress Hill, Erykah Badu, George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars, the Roots, the Pharcyde, the Brand New Heavies and Outkast. The tour also dealt with its first major cancellation, when Foxy Brown bowed out after less than two weeks on the road.
This year's edition of Smokin' Grooves launches in July in the Northeast and will play 41 shows across two months. No dates have been set, as organizers are still hammering out an exact itinerary, but we'll keep you posted.
