Busta Rhymes Spreads VMA Love To Flipmode Squad

While his four MTV Video Music Award nominations may seem like a big one-man score, rapper Busta Rhymes says that any victory for him is a victory for the Flipmode Squad.

"Busta Rhymes is nominated for four nominations but it ain't really just a Busta Rhymes nomination. It's a Flipmode Squad nomination because I represent the Flipmode Squad," the rapper said, spreading the love to the Flipmode Squad during a chat with the MTV Radio Network.

"We all represent the Flip Mode Squad individually, so any one of us who gets a nomination is representin' the same common cause: Flipmode Squad. So all four nominations is for Flipmode Squad: 'Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See' video, 'Dangerous' video, you know we got nominations from Best Choreography to Best Video of the Year to Best Director. I don't know what the fourth category is, but it's just fortunate that the most high blessed us with ability to be able to bring it once again. You know what I'm sayin'? The people are feelin' it, and we're just bein' consistent with it."

Actually, Busta is up for Best Male Video, Best Rap Video, Breakthrough Video, and Best Choreography In A Video when the awards are handed out Thursday night.
