Bush Guitarist Will Miss Band's Radio Tour

Citing a family emergency, spokespeople for Bush say that guitarist Nigel Pulsford will not be able to join his bandmates for the group's upcoming string of radio shows.

Silkworm guitarist (and Pulsford friend) Andy Cohen will fill in on the dates, which include a stop at Washington's notorious WHFestival. Cohen is currently in New York rehearsing with the band and will make his debut with Bush on Friday in Columbia, South Carolina.

Pulsford was with the band Tuesday night when Bush played a mini-set in New York as part of a Tommy Hilfiger fashion show (see "Bush Hits Catwalks For Fashion Week").

The guitarist will also be all over the new Bush album, "The Science Of Things," when it arrives on October 26, and can also be heard on his solo album, "Heavenly Toast On The Paradise Road." Pulsford's solo effort was released online (at www.collectingdust.com)

in July (see "Bush's Nigel Pulsford On Taking Next Bush LP On Road, New Solo Album Online").
