Bobby Brown Arrested In Florida... Again

Singer Bobby Brown surrendered to authorities in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Thursday after a Broward County judge issued a warrant for Brown's arrest for being drunk when he turned himself in to the police in September.

Brown was released on his own recognizance after posting a $2,500 bail, although the judge sternly warned the former New Edition vocalist against taking such liberties with the law, according to the "Associated Press."

As we previously reported (see "Bobby Brown Incarcerated In Florida"), Brown spent five days in a Broward County jail in September and October for a 1996 drunk-driving charge that he decided to stop contesting in court. A report was subsequently sent to the court that Brown was intoxicated when he reported to the jail, and he admitted to one probation officer that he had smoked some marijuana the day before.
