Breeders Amp-lified Line Up To Tour

March 4 [7:55 EST] -- When the Breeders hit the road for two weeks worth of dates on March 12, they'll look more like the Amps than the outfit that unleashed "Cannonball" on an unsuspecting world four years ago.

A spokesperson for Elektra Records confirmed that the Breeders would be hitting the road, but noted that the line-up would include Breeders/Amps leader Kim Deal, Breeders drummer Jim MacPherson, Amps guitarist Nate Farley, and Amps bassist Louis Lerma. The spokesperson said that musicians Carrie Bradley and Michelle Bodine would also augment the line-up.

Noticeably AWOL are Kim's sister and Breeder cohort Kelley Deal and Breeder bassist Josephine Wiggs. Most recently, Kelley Deal has reportedly teamed with former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach to form The Last Hard Men. Meanwhile, Wiggs has been toiling with The Josephine Wiggs Experience.
