LeAnn Rimes, Toni Braxton, Spice Girls Snag Billboard Awards

December 9 [14:00 EDT] -- Billboard Magazine lit up LeAnn Rimes' life Monday night at their annual award show in Las Vegas.

The very young singer took home six awards, including Artist of The Year, Album of The Year, Top Country Artist, Top Country Album, Top Country Album Artist, and Country Singles Artist.

Singer Toni Braxton won five awards for her mantel, including R&B Artist of The Year. R&B group Dru Hill won four awards, including Top R&B Single and Top R&B Artist, and Puff Daddy won three awards, including Top Rap Artist and Top Rap Single.

The Spice Girls, who opened the show, must have slept well after winning four honors, including Top Album, New Artist, and Hot 100 Singles Group.

Elton John and his partner, lyricist Bernie Taupin, won four awards, including a special award for the biggest selling single of all time for "Candle In The Wind '97/Something About The Way You Look Tonight," which was also the Top Single.
