Boyz II Men Titles New LP, Sings For Sports Fans

As Boyz II Men preps for the September release of "NateMikeShawn And Wan," its first new album in more than three years, the Motown band will break from studio sessions long enough to sing for basketball and baseball fans over the next few days.

On Sunday, April 2, Boyz II Men will head to the First Union Center in its hometown of Philadelphia to sing the National Anthem before the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship game, which will be televised on ESPN at 9:00 p.m. (ES)

The following day, the group will travel to Shea Stadium in Queens, New York to reprise its performance of the National Anthem prior to the New York Mets home opener against the San Diego Padres at 1:00 p.m. (ET)

Boyz II Men's Wanya Morris issued his first solo effort, titled "Millennium Renaissance," earlier this month (see "Boyz II Men Resurfaces; Wanya Prepares Side Project"), and in June, Boyz II Men plans to release the first single from "NateMikeShawn And Wan," the band's long-awaited follow-up

to 1997's "Evolution."
