Wu-Tang Enters, Rome Has A Vision, In Charts

June 12 [14:00 EDT] -- The Wu-Tang Clan enters next week's "Billboard" albums chart at number one with their long-anticipated "Wu-Tang Forever." The double album moved over half a million in its first week of sales. The rest of the top ten looks familiar--Spice Girls (number 3), Hanson (number 5), Notorious B.I.G. (number 7), and the Wallflowers (number 9) hold strong.

The hot debut on the "Billboard" singles chart next week is Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, whose "Look Into My Eyes" enters at number 4. The song is from the soundtrack to "Batman and Robin," Puff Daddy¹s tribute to Notorious B.I.G. "I'll Be Missing You" stays on top.

R&B singer Rome holds at number 7 on the singles chart with his power-ballad "I Belong to You." MTV News caught up with him recently and found out actually dreamed that he would find success with the song.

"In the dream I was looking in the "Billboard" and I saw it as number 10, so I said, 'Aaah, I know

it's going to go number ten now!' This was even a month before it came out, so at that time I said, 'Well, what I'm going to do now is I'm just going to have faith, because if He can take me to ten,' I said, 'that's great!'" [800k QuickTime]

The Modern Rock top three singles stay the same, with Third Eye Blind, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Tonic at numbers 1, 2, and 3. The Smashing Pumpkins and their "Batman and Robin" soundtrack contribution "The End Is The Beginning Is The End" move up to number 4.
